2012: NADAC RuFF 6/23-24/12: Newt qualified 10/12 runs, having blown the contacts in reg 1 and touch n' go Saturday. Pilot
qualified 5/9 runs, he was a bit a of bar knocker this trial but yay
for him because he FINALLY beat Newton! Pilot got a first in jumpers
class!
NADAC RuFF 8/11-12/12: Newt qualified 8/12 runs, earning his Novice Title in Tunnelers! Pilot qualified 3/9 runs finishing his title in Novice Regular.
NADAC RuFF 10/13-14/12: What a FUN trial!! Newt
qualified 9/12 runs with the contacts being his down fall. He ran very
fast and very clean with only one refusal the whole weekend! He finished
3 titles in Novice and is now one "Q" from his "Outstanding" Novice
title in Regular! Pilot
handled MUCH better this trial! He still knocked a few bars and took a
few wrong courses but he was listening and with me more than he has
been! Yay Pilot Man!!
2013: NADAC RuFF 1/19-20/2013: Newt
"Q" 9/12. Bringing home an Open Jumpers Title on Saturday moving him
to Elite on Sunday with a "Q" and a Blue! He also brought home his Open
Chances and Open Hoopers Titles! Pilot went 5/9. He had some very awesome, FAST runs! Hassle
had his agility debut with 4/10 with three 1sts and one 2nd!! This baby
dog is really coming along. He was so close to Q-ing Saturday but
little things got him. :)
AKC GLTC 3/14-17/2013 Newt
was a blast, he Q'd 6/12 runs bringing home four 1sts and one 2nd! For
the very first time he Q-ed all four days in standard, on the flip side
he didn't get a single jumpers (oh well).
NADAC RuFF 4/6-7/2013 Newt was a little off his A-game this trial Q-ing 6/12 runs. He picked up 2 new titles and managed to hold his spot in the Triple Crown event! Hassle had an potty accident on the A-frame! Baby dog got a little too worked up watching the other dogs before him and pee-ed as he was coming down the A-frame ( the fifth obstacle before the end ). That made him shy from the A-frame for the rest of the day, but he picked right back up the next day Q-ing 5/12 runs. Pilot was again a bar knocker :) He Q-ed 4/9 runs bringing home a new title plus an Outstanding title! Overall, not a bad weekend for their first outdoor trial!
EXCITING NEWS: Newton was chosen to represent Springfield Photography!! I'm so incredibly honored!! (find the link to the photography page under "links")
NADAC RuFF 5/18-19/2013 Newt rocked!! He Q-d 9/12 runs with 1st places in 7 of them (the other two were chances and there's no placement). He also earned his Open Regular title moving him to Elite! And...Drum roll please... NEWTON WON THE TRIPLE CROWN!!!! He had the overall high score of 230pts earned in three trials, that's 23 qualifying runs!! I'm very proud of the Newter man! Pilot fared pretty well himself! He was still a bit of a bar knocker but I finally think he's learning to pick up those feet. He Q-ed 5/9 with three 1sts, a 2nd and a 3rd. Hassle on the other hand decided to be very forge-y and not complete an obstacle before starting the next. Silly baby dog! He's is doing remarkably well for this third trial and he's only going to improve! :) He did manage a Q in Tunnelers, earning him is last leg for the title moving him to open with a 1st place!
AKC DCAA 5/31-6/2/2013 Newt is finally on the right track for his MACH! He earned a 4th on Friday in Standard, a 1st on Saturday with FAST and his very first Double Q on Sunday with a 4th in jumpers and a 5th in Standard!! He also picked up 35 MACH pts with that Double Q! Only 19 more Double Q's and 465 more points to go!
